Joanne Harmer was born in Wales and now lives in Kent.
Joanne has been consistently passionate about painting since childhood. Her images evolve from layering of mixed media coupled with an infusion of sensitivity and positivity of her subject. Her work can be described as nature-inspired mixed media that is stunningly visual and naturally immersive.
'My ideas for paintings come from long dog walks with my daughter along the coastal paths close to the sea. As my daughter chatters away I am encouraged to paint pictures that look closely at nature and allow the audience to immerse themselves in positivity and an appreciation of the loveliness of life'.
